For this year, because of their partnership with IVA, CISL is looking to gather founders, C-levels, and senior leaders across sectors who value a multi-disciplinary approach to facing key challenges in business growth and driving innovation, bridging the latest Cambridge research to the Asia context.
Through a combination of Cambridge-led insight, regional expertise and peer exchange, participants will:
- Build a critical understanding of the current forces shaping the global operating context and the impact on the short, mid and long-term horizon to inform today’s strategy and capital allocations.
- Gain insight into some of the most promising innovations, and effective approaches for building the conditions for these technologies to scale internationally.
- Explore the potential for pre-competitive collaboration and market-making to create the conditions enabling innovation and investment in the solutions of the future.
- Gain access to a carefully curated community of senior leaders, founders, and innovators, creating space for candid discussion, practical insight and meaningful connections.
- Gain a lifelong peer network of senior leaders navigating similar decisions, with opportunities to engage on key topics.
- Earn a certificate from The University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership.
Alumni from the programme include company executives such as the DBS Managing Director, UOB CSO, Google’s APAC Head of Sustainability, Tencent director, GSK Global Commercial Head, Accenture Managing Director, Dentsu’s Chief Product and Growth Officer, as well as our own Founding Managing Partner Yinglan Tan.
The programme offers a valuable opportunity to engage with Cambridge’s thought leadership, learn from experienced practitioners, and join a trusted network of peers navigating growth and disruption. This year’s faculty, apart from Cambridge visiting faculty, includes the pioneer of the carbon-negative house in Singapore and developer of Asia’s first carbon-neutral prototype home, the first global head of sustainability for Shangri-La Hotels & Resorts and advisor to Asian conglomerates on sustainability, and Google’s first Regional Head of Sustainability in APAC. Yinglan will also be in attendance during the programme.
As Spencer Low, Google’s first regional head for sustainability in APAC and BSP faculty member, shared of his experience on our podcast: “When I joined the BSP…there was a great diversity of people, leaders from different industries and different functions. As you go through the programme, the way the conversation unfolds, the questions that get asked, how people react, probe, and debate, it was almost a proxy for working with diverse senior leaders in your own organisation, or with boards, or even with external stakeholders.”
